As Dante Van Hellsing wandered into the Forbidden Woods graveyard, he was greeted by three shadowy figures. Clearly, a cosplay group of Ghostface character from the Scream series. Luckily Dante had brought along friends to prevent these Grim Reaper rip-offs from spreading more of mediocre American horror.
This time I'm joined by co-operators Gerash and Marth and together we rid the Grand Cathedral of the dog's stench for good. Not gonna lie, nothing improves your mood more than a total mockery of what is supposed to be an insanely hard boss fight.
My second attempt fighting Blood-starved Beast. On my first attempt, I got one-shotted by a grab attack with a broken hitbox, so this time I decided to invite Alfred for some jolly BBQ.

Just as I was about to call quits for the day due to multiple failed attempts against Gascoigne's beast form, I somehow managed to beat him.
Phases 1 and 2 of the boss fight are pretty easy as long as you don't get stuck in the environment and keep parrying. Phase 3 (Beast form) was giving me the most shit because of how excessively aggressive Beast Gascoigne is. In my previous attempts, I noticed Gascoigne was way more aggressive and essentially was spamming Aerial Dive attack like 90% of the time. Also, once my character was knocked down, I could never get back up or heal in time due to Beats Gascoigne's aggressiveness.
In this attempt, his Beast form was way more docile and that paired up with some lucky dodges ensured a glorious victory upon my character, Dante Van Hellsing, who then proceeded to celebrate with the dance of his people.
The short version of my Cleric Beast boss fight for the people who don't wish to sit through the full disastrous attempt. Gotta go fast! The first minute of the video is normal gameplay, with Sanic mode kicking in around at 1:08.

An embarrassing boss attempt in which I waste all of my resources and kill Cleric Beast in the lamest way possible. I won but I sure as hell don't feel like it :/
Probably my worst boss fight in the entire playthrough. Part of it clearly is due to lack of experience, part of it is not knowing that Cleric Beast's weak point was its left arm, part of it is due to picking the worst starting weapon possible. Saw Cleaver has the speed, Hunter's Axe has the the reach, Cain Whip has... the weakest attack stats out of all of them with no obvious benefits.
I eventually ran out of blood vials, so started mashing R1 until one of us ended up dead. This boss attempt was so embarrassing that I made a shortened version of this video which you can see here: https://youtu.be/50jk2ZOCmXc
